As a Technical Solutions Engineer, I specialize in troubleshooting network challenges for data center customers. My role involves applying expert-level knowledge in network protocols to swiftly diagnose and resolve issues, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
In addition to troubleshooting, I deliver impactful training sessions for delivery teams, create public-facing documents to share best practices, and actively contribute to automation projects, streamlining network processes and enhancing overall efficiency. Here are some key responsibilities of my day to day job:
-
Communicated continuously with customers and peers across different teams such as
-
Development and System Engineering teams to facilitate positive customer experience and provide resolution within as soon as possible.
-
Conducted a clear and concise technical document for every customer case.

Frequent presentation of projects and cases to teammates.
-
Conducted an IGMP training to teammates and produced an article published on Aristawebsite ( click here for article ).
-
Wrote multiple internal articles and documentations for TAC troubleshooting.
-
Incident response management through monitoring both email cases and phone queues for customers requiring immediate assistance due to outages.
-
Configuration and troubleshooting on all Arista platforms including Metamako.
-
Designed and configured datacenters with redundancy in mind to ensure continuous uptime. Achieved through implementation of a leaf-spine architecture with leafs in MLAG, or multihoming towards connected tenants. In addition to implementing LACP on bundled links to ensure physical layer redundancy. MSTP for layer 2 redundancy while preventing loops. FHRPs (VRRP, VARP, IP address virtual) and load-balancing for layer 3 redundancy and traffic distribution.
-
Implemented and troubleshooted various protocols as underlay most notably BGP and OSPF, and overlay with BGP and EVPN with L2/L3 VPN, extending over VxLAN environments.
-
Applied IGMP and PIM for customers requiring multicast routing.
-
Troubleshooted TACACS/Radius issues for customers with authorisation/authentication issues.
-
Recreated customer issues in a dedicated lab environment utilising both physical and cloud infrastructure.
-
Utilized Arista’s Cloud Vision (CVP/CVaaS) to configure/provision/ troubleshoot networks.
-
Implemented/utilized different technologies such as sFlow and LANZ and Event-Monitor to study and troubleshoot traffic spikes/drops.
-
Promoted from intern position while receiving positive feedback regarding performance.
-
Self-studied during business downtime to continue progressing and successfully attained ACEL3 in a very short period.

Technical Expert | Apple
Aug 2021 - Feb 2023
I began my journey at Apple in sales, where I developed a deep understanding of customer needs. Transitioning to troubleshooting software, I honed my skills in diagnosing and resolving complex issues. Expanding my expertise further, I delved into hardware repair, ensuring the seamless functioning of Apple devices. This multifaceted experience not only enhanced my technical proficiency but also allowed me to provide comprehensive support, addressing both software and hardware aspects for Apple customers.

Network Technician Intern | OGERO
Jul 2019 - Sep 2019
During my tenure as a Network Technician Intern at Ogero, I immersed myself in the fundamentals of network infrastructure. From learning the intricacies of cabling and fiber optic technology to gaining insights into telecommunication systems, I actively engaged in physical troubleshooting and even ventured into the depths of the network, descending into manholes to understand the infrastructure firsthand. Additionally, here are some of my responsibilities during the internship:
-
Managed cabling and Jointing
-
Conducted data Transmission Electrical, DSP & performance tests (DSL ADSL, resistance to fault location, loop current method)
-
Configured access points and home modem setups
Education
Masters of Telecommunication Engineering
